Wounds of loss come with their own remedy

devastating pain comes with a little tenderness.

Even graveyards turn into gardens

or forests, if we left them alone

Even tears roll tenderly when they fall

it happens when you cry, or when you laugh really hard

Even tough guys write poems,

speak about grief

with a little tenderness.
